My work as a wedding photographer
We meet
My work begins with our meeting. Whether it leads to anything or not, before considering signing the contract, we will meet, it's important to me! Whether it's via video call or over a coffee, at your place or on a terrace, the goal is to get to know each other a bit, for you to tell me who you are and about your project, and for me to reveal a bit about who I am and my photos. If the chemistry isn't there, well, that's okay, we'll have had a good time, it's always nice to meet new people... But if it clicks between us, then Victory! We sign and move on to the next steps.
We prepare
As we're going to work together, you'll also need to put in a bit of work ! We'll have 2 or even 3 more preparation meetings between signing the contract and the wedding day. To be well-prepared and able to capture the story of your day, I'll need as much information as possible about the organization of the big day, your wishes, desires, needs, constraints, etc.
We do an "engagement" photo shoot
This session is essential for getting to know each other, helping you to get comfortable with my camera lens, putting you at ease, and reassuring you so that on your wedding day, you can be yourselves, as natural as possible, forgetting the presence of my camera and considering me as a trusted 'close' companion. So, if you want me as your photographer, it's a must, it's included, it's magical: we're going for a stroll together! And for this session, 'come as you are': you, your style, your habits, your gestures, your desires.
I tell the story of your day
On your special day, I'll be by your side, capturing every cherished moment from the preparations to the jubilant evening festivities. With a keen eye for detail and a heart attuned to your unique narrative, I'll craft a visual reportage that unfolds like a captivating storybook, brimming with the genuine emotions of laughter, tears, and tender embraces. I'll jump into post-production
My work doesn't end with capturing moments on your wedding day. After the festivities, countless hours are dedicated to safeguarding the entire reportage, meticulously sifting through thousands of photos (I only deliver those I deem the most exceptional), fine-tuning the development process (enhancing light, color grading, framing, sharpness...), setting up and configuring the online gallery, and ensuring additional backups... It's a labor of love that will consume at least 2 to 3 weeks before I can deliver the final result to you.
I'll design your photo-album & prints
After receiving your photos, let's arrange a personalized viewing session, either virtually or over a coffee rendez-vous. As you luxuriate in reminiscing over your cherished moments, handpick your favorites for printing. Once you've curated your selection, leave the rest to me—I'll ensure your chosen images are flawlessly reproduced in stunning prints or elegantly crafted into a bespoke album. With your feedback, we'll perfect every detail, ensuring your keepsakes are nothing short of perfection. Yes ! I’m bilingual in english, I’ve got irish/scottish roots, and I spent a few years abroad for high school, university and even for my job as a SLP. If you or your guests are english speakers, and you’re coming in Provence or in the Alps to get married, rest assured I will be more than able, and very happy, to cover your wedding.
The earlier, the better to ensure availability for your date. However, as I am also a bit of an improviser, you can still try even a few weeks or months before your wedding. This is especially true for winter weddings in Savoie!
I have a dream of covering a wedding in the Scottish Highlands. I fell in love with this country and capturing a wedding story there would be a true wonder, and a dream come true!
Yes, and no. I don’t remove or add any elements, I don’t retouch the skin, etc. However, I do work on each photo in terms of lighting, contrast, and color, to bring a coherence to the overall reportage.
